Parent Services

At Home Support

  • Observe home routines to determine target areas of growth. 

  • Develop individualized strategies to assist with language development, behavior challenges, and learning. 

  • Offer assistive technology recommendations, training, and support. 

  • Create behavior management plan 

Student Centered Planning 

  • Facilitate a MAPs (Making an Action Plan) meeting

  • Create student vision plan for schools and service providers.  

  • Draft goals and create service plan through NDIS (AUS clients) and regional center (USA clients) 

IEP Meeting Advocacy

  • Attend IEP meetings

  • Review educational records

  • Meet/collaborate with clients to address areas of need, parental concerns & propose IEP goals

  • Observe classes/programs

  • Communicate with education team

  • Observe and make professional recommendations for the least restrictive educational setting 

Parent Coaching

  • Educate clients on their rights & the IEP process

  • Review areas of need, parental concerns & propose IEP goals

  • Plan & prepare for upcoming meetings

  • Continued collaboration after meeting if necessary
